What groups, activities or sports have you been involved in throughout your high school career?

I love roller skating, cooking, and playing video games. I did track and volleyball briefly as well.

What is your favorite memory from high school?

My after-school program called Jam.

Is there a staff member who has gone beyond for you? If so, who? How have they gone beyond?

Mrs. Lee Ann Burke has been there for me from the start. She has had my back more than any other teacher in the last two years that I've attended Insight; she has consistently advocated for me and helped me in unimaginable ways.

As Centaurs, we stand front and center. What do you stand front and center for?

I'd say hard work, courage, and perseverance.

What are your plans after graduation?

I plan on attending Dakota County Technical College to become an MA.

What advice would you give someone just starting high school?

High school can be tough in ways people don’t always see. I’ve learned that it’s important to choose friends who truly support you, to walk away from situations that hurt you, and to remember that life is bigger than the moment you’re in. Most of all, be kind, you never know what someone else is going through.
